Osler Lawyers Take the Stage at IAPP Canada Symposium (May 4–5)
Several lawyers from Osler’s Privacy and Data Management team will be speaking at this year’s IAPP Canada Symposium in Toronto.
On May 4, Eloïse Gratton, LL.D., ICD.D. will offer insights on emerging AI issues during two sessions: “AI and Privacy Regulation: Global Trends, Developments, Impacts on Innovation” at 2:30 p.m. and “Bridging the Gap: Ethical AI Oversight under Canada’s Reformed Privacy Laws” at 4:00 p.m.
Also at 4:00 p.m., Rosario Cartagena will join a panel on “Demonstrable Accountability: From Data Governance to AI Governance.”
On May 5 at 12:15 p.m., François Joli-Coeur will participate in a session on “Debunking Cybersecurity Myths: Legal Risks and Realities.”
