The recent Kiss Cam recent scandal has reignited concerns around privacy, particularly the unauthorized capture and sharing of images and videos. In Quebec, such actions are subject to a more stringent legal framework than in other jurisdictions, with clear protections under civil law that generally require consent for the distribution of personal images.
